If you need equipment and crew for marathon swimming or other marine adventures, I have a fair bit of experience to draw on to help you succeed in your swimming adventures, but I mostly work here in Canada with Solo Swims of Ontario and GLOW Swimming.

I sail Beatrix, a 1980 Northern 25, out of Hamilton, Ontario, but she's not really suited for swim escorts. I also pilot a Takacat 4.2m inflatable pontoon craft with open bow and transom, configured for swim escort and short-range rescue applications. We power this with one of two electric outboards (a torqeedo 1103 and an e-propulsion Spirit One plus with supplemental solar charging on the water). We can escort shoreline swims with this configuration, but for more involved passages this vessel has to be part of a larger support flotilla, consistent with SSO safety standards for marathon swimming on the Great Lakes and other large bodies of water. Those standards comply with the CSA small vessel regulations and are consistent with the widely recognized norms of traditional marathon swimming.
